Casablanca

'As Time Goes By" would have been just as fitting a title, or maybe "Play It Again, Sam." We tried to recreate a politically correct Rick's Bar from the eponymously-named classic Bogart film of the forties. In keeping with the theme, we photographed this dance on Kodak's T-400 C-41 film, adding just the right amount of sepia for our taste. Black and White is "in" now, and we were overwhelmed with the favorable response we received from all black and white (sepia flavored) images. However, Larry Thompson of Leawood, Kansas, "Events and Images" just sent us this image, and in that "Embarrassing but True" category, his is a whole lot better than mine, and so up it goes.
