Monte Carlo

When we were given the theme "Monte Carlo" it was either race cars or gaming. We chose the latter, creating this soft-focus interior complete with a descending stairway in the foreground and a black-hatted card dealer in the background.

The thumbnail shows the background unadorned, but we added props to this one: our cheesy Oriental rug in the foreground and an old wrought iron railing along the back. Then I decided to shift the angle, too, rendering the background a bit off center. The photo of the couple is the result.

NB. One copy of Monte Carlo is approximately 10' x 15', a little shorter than other one. Nevertheless, it photographs well, as seen in this image.
